C strikes up a conversation with EVERYONE, everywhere we go. The topic of his conversation lately is usually the fact that he is five years old and is going to kindergarten or that his Daddy lives in Dallas, Texas.
Max has been in Dallas since June. Carter misses his Daddy A LOT, he talks about him all the time. When he plays games on my phone he reminds me that he plays the same games with his Daddy. It is so sweet and a little sad at the same time.
Max graduated in May, went on a plethora of interviews, was offered a few jobs and took the big leap! He is finally free of the restaurant business….kind of. The company he works for still deals with restaurants but isn’t actually a restaurant. Amen!
Carter and I are staying in Las Vegas until December. I have to finish this semester of school, then I will do my student teaching in the Dallas area.
The time we are spending apart is rough, thankfully I have the best parents and family surrounding us to help out! I’m excited for the new.

I spent a few months apart from my husband as we moved to (and back from) Dallas. It must be really tough with your son… I hope the time flies and that your son is able to find some games to play WITH his dad to pass the time!
Cute pics! We were a military family for more than 20 years and spent a lot of time apart. The days are log but it is worth it in the end. Best wishes!
